Tetanus Anyone?

This one is for Urban, somehow I know you can sympathize.

After moving into my new place someone brought in a cake before I'd had a chance to even think about unpacking anything. Rummaging around out in the kitchen "Ted" asks where a knife might be. I gesture over at some boxes in the corner and tell him that his guess is as good as mine. Not paying attention behind me Ted continues to dig around and I hear him say, "Oh look a screwdriver! This would work..." Of course I thought he was joking. Apparently he was not.

Turning around from the counter after hearing water running in the sink, I see Ted hack into the cake and cut himself a big piece. Before I can say anything he puts the cake on a napkin, rinses frosting off the screwdriver, tosses it into the sink, finds himself a bottle of water and roams off to go eat.

Is this just a guy thing or what?

It might be a guy thing, but if one wants cake, one will find a cutting implement, even if it is one's pointy finger.

So, email me at respighimahler@aol.com and tell me all about your new home.

Tsk, Tsk. The use of tools is one indication of a higher functioning brain. Here's a fellow who adapted an object found in his environment to accomplish an evolutionary imperative. There is a lot of hope for him and his entire species.

Ha Ha Roger! This particular individual is also noted for drinking out of garden hoses, giardia be damned.
